The Humidor

This was my latest project. My son wanted to make something for his friend so we decided to make a one of a kind humidor. This project spanned over about 4 weeks before christmas. It was made from a plank of cherry, then lined with honduras mahogany to hold the humidity for the cigars. It was then stained and layered with polyurethane with about 6 coats.  We used the router to get the profile of the humidor and also used it to carve his initials on the inside.
